Save the date! Active Water Sports is hosting our 36th annual Evening with the Stars event on Friday, Nov. 18th 6-10 p.m. at our Oregon City location. This is our biggest event and this year is going to be better than ever before so you don't want to miss it! Star-Studded Athlete Lineup
Active Water Sports always flies out some of the biggest names in the industry for this event. This year we will have Ty Higham, Rusty Malinoski and Tommy Czeschin in attendance.
A native Oregonian, Ty moved to California when he was 12 to live with Josh Twelker and ride with his whole crew. For the last five years he has been living in Orlando, Florida. Ty rides for Ronix and has his own signature board, the Supreme. His professional achievements include winning Boat Rider of the Year twice, won 'Trick of the Year in 2020, multiple top 3 finishes on the Pro Tour, and an XGames bronze medal. One of the real OGs in wakeboarding and still crushing it! Rusty is best known for his hard-charging style and massive doubleups. A professional wakeboarder for 20+ years, his list of awards and accomplishments is simply too long to list. Rusty is sponsored by Hyperlite and Nautique. He rides behind the Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon and has his own pro model board, the Rusty Pro.
Tommy is a professional wakesurfer but back in the day snowboarded professionally and competed in the men's halfpipe event at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He then went on to coach the US Snowboard Team. He also competed on the 19th season of The Amazing Race! Tommy is sponsored by Liquid Force and rides the Primo wakesurf board. Active Water Sports teamed up with Liquid Force and Tommy this Summer to create an AWS x Liquid Force LTD. Primo board!
